While I was in Paris I picked up this little beauty, Phyto Detoxifying Shampoo. Basically, it is a very potent, clarifying shampoo that will cleanse your scalp and restore the balance of oils in your hair. Now, as a bit of a oily haired gal myself, this shampoo is a godsend. I use it only once a week (as instructed on the bottle) and it really makes my hair feel soooo clean and also lighter. I hate that feeling towards the end of the day when my hair feels heavy and a bit oily, and this shampoo has really helped that. I think it is great to give my hair just that little bit of extra help once a week, and also my scalp.
Now, with clarifying shampoos there is a bit of a grey area when it comes to coloured hair. I have coloured hair and I was a little nervous before using this in case my hair was stripped. However, the bottle says all hair types so I trusted this and I’m glad I did! My hair colour is technically semi-permanant though, so with every wash with any shampoo, the colour is going to fade. Just something to watch out for!
