Can you sense that there was a bit of a theme in my shower this month?
1. Treacle Moon ‘My Coconut Island’ Body Scrub
I bought this on a bit of a whim when doing an online shop at Tesco, it was cheap and all the Treacle Moon stuff looks like it’s from Philosophy (but without the inflated price tag..). It’s a nice enough body scrub and I like that it’s in a tube rather than a tub, I find using products in tubs SO hard in the shower. They just get filled up with water!
2. Organix ‘Coconut Water’ Shampoo and Conditioner
The tag line on this is ‘weightless hydration’ and I would say that’s about right! I have really loved using these – my hair has been quite dry and damaged recently, but using heavy moisturising products leave my hair quite oily. But these leave my hair feeling soft, but not heavy and they smell amazing.
This is a product that has been so debated in the blogger world at the moment. It seems to be a real love it or hate it kinda thing. Personally, I do really like it. I would say however that it is quite subtle until you have applied it a good 3-4 times and the whole waiting in the shower for 3 minutes with the water off is a bit chilly but for me, it works. I don’t like dark fake tan because I just don’t like the look of it on me and I love being able to wash it off before it develops because I can go to bed without feeling sticky or getting my sheets all grotty. It’s not for everyone, but for people who like the natural look and really hate the traditional method of self-tanning, it’s perfect.
So there you have it, that is what has been in my shower for the month of July. As you can see, these products are getting a bit low now so I will be making a trip to boots very soon to pick up some new things.
