Today I am sharing a non alcoholic cocktail recipe with you. This lemon, elderflower and mint spritz is perfect for summer and is so delicious you will not miss the alcohol in it at all! This recipe is so easy and quick to make as well, I was actually reluctant to call it a cocktail.
While I do love a wine or G&T, I have been drinking more non alcoholic and low ABV drinks recently. Whether it’s because I have to drive or if I just don’t feel like drinking that day, I like having options other than just water or a soft drink when I can’t have alcohol. With a cocktail, it just feels like you’re not missing out on anything!
Ingredients
Makes 2
50ml Elderflower cordial
25ml lemon juice
150ml Fevertree Mediterranean Tonic (or similar)
Dash of sugar syrup
Handful of mint leaves
Ice
2 slices of lemon, to garnish
Method
- Fill up 2 glasses with ice. I’ve used regular wine glasses here, but a tall tumbler would work as well.
- Add the cordial, lemon juice and sugar syrup. Stir with a bar spoon (or a straw if you don’t have one!).
- Tear up the mint leaves and smack them with the palm of your hand. This will bring out their aroma and flavour! Add to the glasses with the slices of lemon.
- Top up the glasses with tonic and stir.
So that is my super easy non alcoholic cocktail recipe! I have been making this a lot recently on days when I don’t feel like drinking – the combination of lemon and elderflower is such a winner for summer, it’s so refreshing!
I’d love to know if you give this a try yourself – please do tweet me or message me on Instagram if you do.
