The Sunday Post | #1

Hello there! This is a new little thing I’m trying out – I’m going to post every Sunday with some products I’m using for my weekly pamper, what I’ve been getting up to that week and what music I’m loving that week too. It’s going to be a bit of a mix of things that I want to talk about basically!
Now – onto the post!
When I think of Sunday, I immediately think bath. I personally think that there is no better start to the new week than a nice relaxing bath with a few candles, a DIY facial and a manicure. Above are this weeks products of choice: Essie Absolutely Shore (a polish I have wanted for months after seeing it on Anna’s blog – my favourite btw), REN Moroccan Rose Bath Oil and my 3 face masks. I’m going to start off with the Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel (delicious smelling stuff!) which is a great non-abrasive exfoliator, then I’m giving the old bags a bit of TLC with the Guinot Instant Eye Mask. Finally, I’ve been testing out the Origins Drink Up Intensive overnight mask as my skin has been suffering a little from the chilly weather.

As for what I’ve been doing this week, I’ve been quite productive. I recently made a substantial order from Paperchase (which I was far too geekily excited for) so I could get myself organised and hopefully inspire myself to study more as I could do it on some pretty stationary. My favourites? My new 2013 diary. Isn’t it beautiful? It’s a great size – fits perfectly into any handbag – the paper is luxurious and I just love it. I also got these little panda highlighters which are simply adorable! I’ve been trying to get lots of uni work done this week and also planning out future posts for this blog!
Okay – now I know a carton of soy milk isn’t exactly the most sexy picture to put on a blog, but bear with me here. Post-Christmas I, like many others out there, wanted to turn over a new leaf and become healthy and a bit slimmer. Unbelievably I have actually kept it up, and one of the things I have done is cut out cow’s milk from my diet. I done this as I had read somewhere that milk can break you out so I decided to give it a try. My skin has never been clearer. It actually works! And it’s a lot less calories too! As far as my diet goes, I’m going to do a few posts on what I’m doing to become healthier.

Music of the week! I discovered this song – Concrete Wall by Zee Avi and have not stopped playing it. Her voice is so haunting and the song is quite chilled out but just beautiful. Give it a listen here!
So there you have it. I apologise that it’s not the most interesting week ever, but hopefully next week there will be a few more pictures because it’s my birthday on Thursday! I have quite a lot planned for it, so stay tuned for some posts on that! Oh and, Happy Sunday!
