I have been really getting into make-up again recently – I don’t know what it is but i’ve just been really enjoying experimenting with different looks. One of my favourites has been using warm, reddish eyeshadow with the Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita Palette. I think these sort of shades suit my super dark eye colour and are perfect for this time of year.
On my eyes I have the Kiko Long Lasting Shadow Stick in 06 Golden Brown all over the lid – I wanted a bronzey base and I find using a cream shadow makes the eyeshadow last a lot longer. I’ve then got the NYX Slide on eyeliner in Golden Bronze along my upper last line and blended a little bit. I am in love with this eyeliner, it is literally the ultimate Autumnal coppery shade. I then took the reddish colour in the Dolce Vita palette (top right) in my crease and blended it out. Finally I took the darkest shade in the palette (bottom right) and took it along my lower lash line (can’t really see it in the pic, but it’s a nice softer alternative to a pencil eyeliner!).
And now for the lips. I am obsessed with this kind of plum, matte lip and the following lip combo is perfect. I used the Kiko Intensely Lavish Lip Pencil in 04 Mild Sangria all over my lips – I love this lip liner, it is such a gorgeous shade. It’s a little bit Kylie Jenner, but more on the pink/purple side which I much prefer to the super brown toned colours that are so in at the moment. I then used MAC Plumful lightly over the top of it to intensify the purple tones in it and also so that my lips wouldn’t feel quite so dry. Lip liner looks amazing but oh my, it is uncomfortable!
As a final little note – I am loving these rose gold eyelash curlers from Tweezerman. My beloved Kevin Aucoin curlers recently broke and when I went into Sephora to get some new ones these caught my eye – I mean, they’re rose gold duh. But seriously, they are really great eyelash curlers. They do the job perfectly and I also feel like they are more comfortable to use than any other ones I’ve used before.
